On August 14 we went to Grandma and Papa's house to celebrate all 6 of the August birthdays, including Dominic and Jude's. It was almost like Christmas.

Family Party
August 8 we had a little party to celebrate both Jude and Dominic's birthdays. Grandma and Grandpa and Aunt Tracy were here to help us celebrate.
We ordered their bikes from Toys R Us and when we received them, one of the boxes was damaged. So when Adam went to put it together, of course the bike was damaged as well. Thus we only had one bike to give to two boys. I was so excited to see their reaction when we wheeled out the bike and this is what we got...
Dominic Turns 4!
I woke Dominic up at 6:30 a.m. after being out late the night before at the TEC hoot, so that he could see his picture on TV. I don't think he was too thrilled. He didn't really have a reaction when he saw himself. The picture proves that he was still half asleep.
Party hats!
By that evening, when Daddy got home, he was in a much better mood. We celebrated by having his favorite meal: hot dogs and cupcakes with sprinkles. He even got a new train from Jude and Cecilia. He is so proud of his Duncan.

Car Show
Lately the boys have been playing "car show". They get all of their matchbox, hot wheels, etc out and line them up. Today Jude even built a platform out of blocks for the cast of "Cars". I overheard them say something about needing a snack at the car show. They went to the closet where they pretended to get out some "scooby dooby's". I asked them what those were and they said "fruit snacks, like we had at Grandma and Grandpa's house." I guess they wouldn't know who Scooby Doo was.
One of these times I will be quick enough to get a picture of their car show. By the time I get my camera out all of the cars have "driven" away. They said that they were racing but it looked more like a demolition derby to me!

Baby Love
I was busy doing things around the house and when I came through the living room this is what I found:
Jude's Firsts
This summer has been full of "firsts" for Jude. Aunt Tracy took him to see his first movie in the movie theater, Toy Story 3. Tracy had a full day of Buzz and Woody planned, complete with craft projects and Toy Story popcorn buckets!

They were worn out from all the fun and fell asleep on the way home. And when they got home they told me about their favorite part of the movie; the train.
He also had his first visit to the dentist.
