Hey everybody, look at me!

Yep, thats me! And you all know how tall my Dad is.

My new trick. Aunt Tracy says its called a Cupie, but Dad claims its not a cheerleading move!

I'm a Big Kid Now! My First Meal.

Jan. 11, 2007Okay, I've got all the gear now where's that cereal!
Yum! It is almost as good as Mama's milk. And yes some did actually get in my mouth.
Hmm...so this is what water tastes like.
I liked eating so much that Daddy fed me again when he got home.

YUM!

Christmas and New Years

No, thats not Tiny Tim. Its me in my Christmas outfit. I clean up pretty nice, huh?
Here's the Fam in their Christmas Best! I guess they spent all of their money on me and couldn't afford to get Dad any shoes.
Christmas was great and all, but is it Springtime yet? I'm really itching to wear my baseball cap.
And here is what my parents and their friends do after the kids all go to bed. I don't know how Joachim would feel about you riding his new horse and I don't know how anyone felt about that Karaoke performance.
I heard Ryan was a top contender in the contest. Hey, and why did Joachim get to help ring in the new year and watch the ball drop but Benedict and I had to stay in bed! Oh well, maybe next year!

More Christmas

Santa came to visit and even brought Grandpa some goodies. He must have been a good boy too.
But I was an even better boy because I got lots more toys than he did!
Grandpa Dawg gave me this awesome Tonka dumptruck that now I can ride in but it won't be long before I am pushing it everywhere.
Look at Dad's stocking stuffer! What a handsome boy!
Grandma, why does everyone insist on me wearing these silly antlers?!

Christmas Continues

Its Christmas Eve and I was not very happy to learn that I was going to have to guide Santa's sleigh! That's way past my bedtime!
Cousin Claire really didn't seem to mind though.
I was a little overwhelmed by all of the presents but Cousins Lauren and Charlie knew just what to do.

I really needed some rest. So many presents, family and food!

I did finally wake up to see what was in my stocking.

My First Christmas Begins

Here I am with Jolly Old St. Nick. I liked hanging out with him.
I got to open some presents early. Kari sent us some goodies. I didn't really want to rip up the Scooby Doo wrapping paper, but Mom and Dad made me.
And inside was this very cool snowman outfit. THANKS KARI!
She also gave me this cool spider. I love to play and chew on it!

This is the present that I got for Dad. Finally I'm taller than someone.
(P.S.-I've been trying for weeks to put my Thanksgiving pictures on the blog, but it wouldn't work, so I guess you will have to come visit me so I can tell you all about my first Turkey Day!)

Fun-n-Games

Mom and I went to Louisburg with Katie and Joachim for my first volleyball game. We were VIP's. We got to go down on the court and mingle with Coach Smith after the game.
This is the first time that my parents left me. They went to the St. Lawrence Winefest and I got to stay with Grandma and Papa at home. They don't look too sad without me :( or Joachim or Benedict.
Baby it's cold outside! You'd think my parents could get a hat that fits me.
And here's my first snow. It was a big one too. Aren't I cute in my snowsuit? "I can't put my arms down!"
P.S.-Why is Dad always in his work clothes?

Hangin with Family

I've already done some minor traveling to see some of my family. Luckily we didn't have to go all the way to North Dakota, instead they came to Kansas. That's me with my Great Aunt Karen
And me with Dad, Grandma and Great-Grandma. Wow! 4 generations.
Grandma and Papa's house was full of crazy, card-playing ladies!
It was just too much for me.
Here's cousin Josie. We are having a contest to see who can have the biggest cheeks. I knew I didn't have a chance if we compared waist size.

Dominic Augustine's Baptism

Here I am at my baptism on August 20, 2006. If I had known what a big deal baptism is, I might have woken up. This is a great shot of me with my parents and Godparents, Ryan and Katie, and Fr. Ragi. I especially love how J.C. is in the background on the cross. (I had a great photographer, good thing she is a professional)
Boy, that water sure was cold. But I did feel a sense of peace after that
What a special day. I even got Fr's blessing.
And here I am with my proud Godparents. I don't know where my Godbrother is.

My Favorite Things...

Hanging out with Grandpa Dawg and his sweet rides

Sleeping...on Grandpa
...or Grandma
...on Momma
...and in my crib
Of course I knew Mom was taking a picture of me, so I made her think that I was sleeping and flexed my muscles for the camera.

Lets get caught up

I came into the world like a rocket on August 2nd, 2006. So fast that Dad almost didn't make it. But after a crazy, normally 2 hour trip, a speeding ticket and some off-roading, Dad made it with 10 minutes to spare.

Thanks Joe! Dad says that I still owe you for that, so as soon as I can walk I'll be at the shop cleaning.
The first few weeks of my life we had so many visitors. All coming to meet me!

Another Carrie

The Moons (Sophia, Mary, Anna, and Chris)

Wytek and Melissa (I'm not even going to try their last name!)

Great Grandma and Great Grandpa Rinke

Great Aunts and 2nd cousins
(Julie, Grace, and Isaac)

The soon to be Mr. and Mrs.
Bobby and Anita

They even let my friend Joachim who is only 3 months older than me hold me. (A little scary I think)

Of course my Aunt Tracy came

and Grandma and Grandpa too (my other grandparents and aunts came too but for some reason we didn't get a picture)

More greats and 2nds (Jeff, Helen and Ann came to see me in the hospital)

And of course Leah was there. She almost had to deliver me in her new car!

Kelly came to the hospital when I was just 1 day old!

But I don't really remember too much about it, because it seems that all we did that first month was sleep. For some reason Mom was really tired too.
