And now, for your viewing pleasure...

Doing What Boys do Best...

We love to play outside!
Dominic's new favorite pasttime is climbing trees.
And he made me get up there, then wouldn't help me down. I guess that's what big brothers do.
Sunday was spent washing and waxing the car. Which meant playing in the truck bed and the mud puddles for us.
I love helping Dad.
Time for a break.
Time for a bath? I don't think so, Mom! I just took one in the puddle.

Labor Day: The Unofficial End of Summer

We spent the last days of summer at Grandma and Papa's house. And when we are there we have to earn our keep.
I help Grandpa with the chores.
Here we are watering the cows.
Then there is lots of time for fun. Grandma likes to pull us in the wagon.
And Papa reads to us.
But then its back to work. Here I am cleaning up the rocks.
Jude is helping too. (or just eyeing Erica's food)
Jude likes to relax on his furry cousin, Lincoln.
My favorite pasttime is learning to become a pool shark. There was just enough time to pose with Valerie, Erica, and Aunt Lisa.
After a hard day's work there is nothing better than getting a bath in the sink.

Of course, what is Labor Day without a trip to the lake.
Splish, splash.
Ready to ride.
(not really, we would of course have our life jackets on)
Daddy's boys.
Hanging with Erica.
We had a fun weekend, but now it is back to work. (At least it is for Dad)

MOPS Carnival

School has started back up, which means MOPS (Mothers of Preshoolers) is back in session too. This is where we get to go play with other kids our age while Momma plays with other Moms. The theme for the year is "Adventures in Mothering" so we kicked off the start of MOPS with a carnival. Complete with cotton candy, popcorn, face painting, hot dogs, a duck pond, "fishing", and more! Our very first, we might add.
Here is Dominic trying his hand at Putt-putt.
But he found it was just easier to throw the ball in the hole.
Swish!!
What a silly clown!
Clown's best friend. (aka Jude)
