Summer, summer, summertime!

This summer I have been busy exploring the world under the table.
Peek-a-boo!
And I have been working on my gymnastics skills. Mommy is proud.
I have been hanging out at the rodeo, watching Daddy play cowboy.
Kari came to visit and I was so sad when she had to go. But lately I haven't gotten to do much outside with all the rain, so I sit at the door and stand at the windows wishing we could go to the pool or play outside.

Happy Father's Day!

Dad and I spent some quality time together on Father's Day!
We watched golf and I climbed all over him. I especially like it when he feeds me.
YUMMY!! CHEESE!!
I love my daddy this much!

Summer Fun

This weekend was my neighbor and friend, Leah's 1st birthday party. She had a really fun luau.
We got to go swimming. Finally it wasn't raining!
Mama swam me around and we had so much fun.
Leah sure does have some neat water toys! Dad pulled me around in my dolphin.
Leah devoured her birthday cake and there wasn't any left for me. I guess I have to wait a few months to have my own.

Weekend Fun!

I got to see lots of family this weekend.
I clean up pretty nice, wouldn't you say?
These are Dad's anniversary and Father's Day present. Maybe someday he will get me a pair.
I'm always happy if I can be moving.
Oh, Dad, that light is blinding!
Grandpa makes a great jungle gym.
Great Uncle Shorty gave me kisses at first, but then he started running away every time I came near. I don't know why he didn't like me plucking his hair.
It's time for harvest in Kansas and I am ready to work. Actually we went to the Miss Kansas parade and I got to see the Shriner's Wheat Whackers.
Grandpa's boy already. I love anything with wheels and a motor (aka Grandpa)
Its always fun with Grandma and Grandpa

Our visit to KC

We went to Kansas City over the weekend and stayed with the Burton's.

Joachim and I had lots of fun playing.
Joachim is growing up to be pretty handsome...
... look out ladies, here we come!

I don't think Joachim liked me invading his bathtime, but I sure did have fun!
Since my parents are Joachim's Godparents, we celebrated his 1 year baptismal anniversary.
I was already in bed, but Joachim got to blow out candles and open presents. I can't wait to be 1!
We couldn't come to KC and not have a little party. Benedict came over to play and give us lots of hugs and high fives.
And we finally got to meet Aidan. He seems little now, but in a few years he will be wrestling with the rest of us.

Finally I got to meet the other Dominic and his parents!

Wait, Dad, you have the wrong Dominic.

I tried to keep up with those boys, but I didn't have a walker. Their feet move a little faster than my hands and knees.

And what's a party without beer! I think good times were had by all, at least good times were had by me!

More on Memorial Day Weekend

It took Jared a little while to warm up to me...
but he finally did and I showed him all of my toys.

Aunt Tracy was here for the weekend and we had lots of fun. Here we are dancing!

Can't a guy get some rest without the paparazzi blinding him every second!

St. Paul Mission Days

We decided to stay home for Memorial Day and experience our first ever Mission Days.

It started out with a baby contest. I'm not too impressed with that because I didn't win.
Then Jared and his parents came for a quick visit. We had such a good time playing I wish they lived closer.
Later we went to a Draft Horse Pull.
Look at those horsies work!
There were even ones just my size

I liked getting close to the little ponies.

Here's Dad and I by one of the Draft Horses. But all of these events had me pretty wore out so we finished out the afternoon with a good nap.
