Fun with Aunt Tracy

Aunt Tracy was with us the whole week and we had so much fun. Momma made all kinds of treats and we helped.

Jude trying to decide whether to follow the devil or the angel on his shoulder.

We took Tracy to some of our favorite hangouts, including the library.

Jude was in charge of carrying our books home from the library in his backpack.

We had fun dancing-here we are doing the locomotion!

Of course we went swimming.

But the highlight of the week was going to Indy to the Ralph Mitchell Zoo.

My very first cotton candy! Although Mom and Aunt Tracy ate most of it!

Our first carousel ride.
And, yes, it only cost a nickel!

Exploring the "real" train, which we named Gordon.

Roarrr!

Giddyup, Elephant!

"People let me tell ya 'bout my best friend!"
Enjoying the zoo together

"All's clear on my side. How about on yours?"
"All clear, except for this girl taking a video of me"

We loved KiddyLand at the zoo.

Checking out the monkeys, turtles and swans. (yes, in the same exhibit)

This pretty much sums up the fun that we had while Aunt Tracy was here. We sure do love her!

The weekend of my birthday and the week after were filled with lots of birthday fun!

A birthday call from Grandma and Grandpa

Here I am modeling the new pjs they sent me

The weekend of my birthday was spent at the Ozarks at our friends' lakehouse. We loved the lifejackets that were just our size and didn't want to take them off.

I got to swim with Daddy!

And we celebrated my birthday with cupcakes!

Don't you dare touch my cupcake, I will give you the evil eye!

The best part was riding in the boat! When we got home, Aunt Tracy came to help celebrate and spend the week with us. She even brought presents...

...a birthday balloon

...THOMAS!
...and Frank & Lightning

We also had cupcakes again

Mmmmmm...

Happy Father's Day!

We love our Daddy so much! We signed and colored our card all by ourselves.
We also found some time to doodle in our coloring books
This must have been before I tried to color the inside of my ear (which is now blue) -Jude

Please do not bother me while I am at work-Dominic

Brothers...Best Friends...Worst Enemies

Happy Father's Day!

Story Time!

We have been attending a month long summer reading program at the library. This past week we read a story about Father's Day and then made Dad his very own tie.

Here we are creating our masterpiece artwork for Daddy.
Posing with our ties

A group picture

The best part though....snacktime!

Mmmm...cookies!

ABC-Sing with Me

I have finally decided to divulge my talent. Mom and Dad were starting to think that I couldn't sing at all, so one day I decided to prove them wrong.

Summer Days Wastin Away...

We have been having a great summer...and we have the pictures to prove it!
Michael and Dominic getting dirty in the ditches.
After a few days of good rain, our ditches were full of water and the temperature was perfect, so we took advantage of it, along with our neighbors.

We do find some time to catch up on our soap operas (Barney, Sid, Thomas)

One cool evening we stopped playing with our dump trucks to lay down and watch the sun go down.
Of course its not all fun and games. We helped Daddy change the oil in the truck.

On Saturday of Memorial Day weekend, we spent the day with Daddy's old college buddies at Farlington Lake. We were the only ones brave enough to get in the water.

This is a typical Jude moment. He is the messiest guy you'll ever meet.

And now for a video of how we spend our afternoons...
