The Pumpkin Patch

On Saturday, the Riopel family took a trip to Hickory Creek Farms, a pumpkin patch.

I made a great scarecrow and Jude was a cute little pumpkin picker.

I found some tiny little pumpkins, just my size.
It was a beautiful 90 degree FALL day! (Global warming?)
Why wait for pumpkin pie? Yum!

Then we headed out to the patch to find our pumpkins.
Weeee!
I told Dad that this one looked good.
He taught me how to thump it to see if it's a good one.
It was!
So we picked it!

Mom found herself the perfect pumpkin(s).

Then we hauled our finds back to the barn.

At the Critter Corral we fed the chickens...
and quacked at the ducks...
and petted Dominic the Donkey!
And don't forget the goats.
"So, when can we come back?" (I hear they have strawberry pickin' in the spring!)

Double Trouble

Need I say more.

Jude's Baptism

Jude was baptized on Sunday...
...in the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
He didn't even cry.
" Baptized in Christ, a royal priesthood, a holy nation." Mom and Dad say this means he's going to be a priest.
Yeah! Welcome Jude!

Weekend with Family

Last weekend Jude was baptized, so G-ma and Papa and Aunt Brenda came to stay.

Jude liked sleeping on everyone, especially Aunt Brenda. She loves to sleep too!
I showed Grandma all over the house.
And she fed me. (She'll feed me whenever I want!)
And of course I had to show them how I get around.
Papa likes to tickle me.
I like to try to grab his toothpick!
I've got my eye on you. No one steals my food!
Grandma and Jude
So they say I have to share my toys with my cousin Josie.
Ready, set, here we go!

Father-Son Bonding

So, my Dad and Godfather took me to Cabella's to see some really cool animals.
Here I am with the fishies!
And with Dad and the elephants. Dad is the one holding me.
Watch out for those horns!
Dad says that he will teach me how to hunt a big deer just like this one!

We are Family!

We are now a family of four.

The boys are taking over.
Its rough being the big brother.
What a life this kid has!
But this bouncy thing sure is fun!
